Compass FSS Appointment Policy

Welcome to Compass Working Capital’s Family Self-Sufficiency Program! We are excited to work closely with you towards your financial goals. This Appointment Policy outlines the relationship between you and Compass.

Financial Coaching Appointments

To successfully graduate from FSS, participants must reach the goals they’ve set for themselves in the program. At Compass, we offer one-on-one financial coaching to help you identify, set, and reach your goals in the program. That’s why financial coaching sessions between you and your Compass financial coach are required to successfully complete the program. Appointments are scheduled as follows:

 Year 1

4 required appointments

 Intake, 6 months, 1 year

Year 2 +

 2 required appointments per year

Every six months

Graduation

1 final exit appointment

We try to make it as easy as possible for you to complete your coaching sessions. That’s why we offer appointments online, over the phone, or in person in one of our offices.

Missed Appointment Policy

We know that sometimes life gets in the way and that you might not be able to make one of your coaching sessions. If so, please reach out to Compass in advance to reschedule. If you don’t complete any coaching sessions over the course of one year, our understanding will be that you are no longer engaged in the program and your savings account in the program may be closed. We hope that doesn’t happen – your engagement in the program will help you to succeed!
